Boat Day

With such a sunny Monday, we had to get the bot on the water. Today we hit pleasant lake and launched the ’57 Whirlwind, a 14 foot wooden runabout.

We fished around the lake all day. It was a really nice change of scene since it has been so grey recently. I got to use my new bait-caster and fly fished for a couple of hours.

Will caught our first fish, a little largemouth. We later caught another better sized bass. With the stocking of ponds this week and next there should be some really good fishing to come.
